Katniss Inspired Outfit and Makeup

Remember how i told you that I was going to do a Katniss inspired outfit? Yeah? Well im doing it now!

Katniss has hardly any makeup and its like very natural.
Her outfit engulfs her in flames when she twirls around [Its safe of course!]
I watched the movie and fell in love! Teehee i read the books aswell!
I dont really need to show you how to put on make up just add some light pink lipstick and add some false lashes :]

Now for the outfit :

I promise if you look for this dress [the complete one in the picture] thats because its layered.
These are the things you need ;

Btw you'll need 2 red dresses from basics.

Put on the Red dress from Piviera and then fit the two dresses underneath until it is sorta matching with the picture of my medoll.

Be creative maybe you could design some flames with SD Jewellery!

Budding trend: Chunky Scarves

So, there are lots of very popular trends going around, but the one I'm going to show you today is Chunky Scarves. Types like the DKNY scarf here are seen all over Stardoll, giving everyone's outfit that extra oomph! My doll is currently wearing this DKNY scarf underneath a jacket, a fur vest and on top of a dress, and because it's worn all around your neck, it makes your doll look warm and cosy inside your screen! It goes good underneath any matching jackets, vests, and goes well on top of tops with a turtleneck or ruffles. You can wear it with a variety of dresses, and depending on the colour (black & white are the most versatile) it goes with a range of colours and patterns!

For April, the middle of Autumn, I've picked some of my favourite Autumn pieces!

IT GIRLS - 84sc.

First up, the Wild Candy Lemon Lolly Heels, for 97 starcoins. They go with denim, or other yellow & green, you could even colour block with them! They also make a great addition to someone trying to make an Idoru themed outfit. I would wear it with white jeans, or a nice pair of shorts. You could even try pairing it with my next pick of the month.. the IT GIRLS Jean Jacket for 84 starcoins. It's denim, so it goes with practically anything! Any coloured tops, pants, skirts, shorts or dresses! I would wear it with brown, to bring out the brown/bronze stitching on the jacket. The sleeves aren't too long, but aren't too short either, so they're the perfect match for any outfit - and it's not too long, or too cropped, so it's versatile with everything. The collar isn't too high or low, and it's open enough to flatter what you wear underneath, but not so open or closed you ruin the outfit. You can even wear with these, the Epiphany 'The Ruby & Diamond Ring' for 99 starcoins. It's red, which can help add to the perfect flattering red outfit, or you can colour block it with different mix-and-matched clothing. Denim (as I said, it goes with everything) would definately go with this!

Trick for using Low Belts

Many people have a problem with belts they really like - they sit very low on your doll. How can you use it without having it so low?

Well, all you have to do, is wear it higher and cover it with a nice jacket! Make sure the jacket isn't sheer/see-through, or short/cropped, otherwise it won't work, unless you are creative and can make it work (;

Here in my example, I've just put together a simple outfit, but as you can see the opaque & waist-length jacket covers up the belt just nicely.

Clothing ; Layering

Hey guys ,
Sorry i havent been posting much , I've been really busy with school and assignments :[

Well i decided to treat you to one of my speicaltys ; CLOTHING .

When i was looking through Lexis gb comments *cough cough* I saw that 2 of our bloggers needed new outfits ; Lexi and Georgia.

So I decided that i'll go through their closets and raid their clothes. Too bad i didnt find Narnia or Monsters . Inc........

But i came across these outfits first is Georgia's ;

Now this is very basic layering.


Next is Lexi's outfit which is more of a harder layering ;

As you can see i made Lexi's outfit go with the theme of the Western Interior

This layering is much more complicated, well not really but anyway it has lots of items in it. So i'll show you what it includes ;
