A little something for Dani-pie❤

This is a little tribute to a good friend of mine. Dani. aka Stella_xox14

She's been trying hard to win Best Album.

On her Presentation she says ;

"My Dream is to win best album............"

As you can tell she really wants to have a chance :] So let me show you her album!

Tips on getting a good album background

So, many talented members have a background in their album. A plain colour. How do you get this? Well, you can use some furniture you already have e.g. a piece of sky or an enlarged couch. If you don't have the colour you want though, there's a simple way to get it!

 First, go to one of your rooms in your suite. Make sure there's no interior on, and choose the colour you want in the Room Design section. It can be any colour from the list of choices. Remember, there are 3 pages you can choose from!

 Second, move some furniture out the way (it doesn't matter if you ruin your suite, you don't have to save it). Click on the Camera icon underneath your rooms.

 Thirdly, hold down the Zoom In button and zoom in as far as you can. Make sure the camera is taking a photo only of the wall.

Take the photo! Remember, the entire photo must only be of the colour on the wall.

Now, all you do is go to your album, find a blank page, and put the photo on there. Make the photo as big as it will go, or as big as you need it to go, and voila! It works for everyone, unless your camera isn't loading, which happens for me sometimes. Thanks for reading! (:

Album glitch

So there's a glitch in albums, preventing you from changing the font. It has the default font when first creating the text, but it won't allow you to change it, and when you save your album it goes to a completely different font from what was in the selection.

So I saw a particular broadcast today, a girl trying to win best album. I have to admit, most of her album wasn't that interesting, but there was one (well, spread over 2) pages that I agreed with & enjoyed.
The girl that had this in her album was LollyLivAngel.

Amazing albums: fire_princess7

So I've noticed album winners are usually the people on top designers list, or who have already won something.
But what about the rest of Stardoll? There is a very popular thing called 'album magazines' and fire_princess7 has made one called 'Style Diary' - she even has a club for it! Learn more by reading on.

As you can see here, her album magazine is full of tutorials and fashion tips! There are also some interesting pages on Colour Blocking, and many other cute little ideas!
What do you think of her album? I gave it a definite 5/5 & I joined her club for it, which has over 400 members!

There is a lot of time & effort gone into this magazine, so please don't copy what you see! There is even a small message on the front cover:
"everything in this album is all rights reserved by fire_princess7, copying anything that this album contains will violate the copyright laws." As you can read, she really won't be happy if you copy!
